New York Fashion Week 2020 & The Key Collections

When it comes to the business of fashion, the New York Fashion Week surpasses everything. New York Fashion Week 2020 was held in London, and needless to say, one week of fashion gave us the fashion inspirations to ace for an entire year. The critical trend was streetwear and street style looks that will ensure you get to champion the evening stroll and make statements wherever you go. On the contrary, fashion was repurposed and redesigned for the plus-size women so that they portray a sense of modern fashion while walking the streets of the town.

In this article, we are shedding light on different yet uniquely resonant collections from the New York Fashion Week 2020. So, hold down the pen because there are going to be dresses of your dreams in there!

Marina Moscone

This collection is all about saying no to impromptu and groovy prints topped with silhouettes. Still, fashion is all about minimalism, simplicity, subtle glamor, and tincture of the 70s. In other words, her collection was inspired by the 70s version of the blazers, which she put on herself while dreaming of Jane Forth & Anjelica Huston.

Marc Jacobs

Miley Cyrus might have aced the show with a black bra and pants. Still, this collection was all about the leg trousers, crewneck, and an A-Line coat that accentuate the overall look adorned with full block heels in blazing black.

Rodarte

Be it the return to gothic roots, bias-cut dress, or the gowns adorned with silk scarves which weren’t seen at Rodarte ever before made the statement this year. All the looks painted a picture of tranquility and liveliness depicting the true sense of fashion that this show is famous for.

Michael Kors

One of the biggest names in bringing up something new every year that cranked up the notch this year by designing the pleated midi skirts, pleated evening dresses, and the Prince of Wales suit. However, Michael Kors bid it’s farewell to stilettos and fashioned the riding boots with the smocked dress!

Proenza Schouler

This collection is bringing back sexy to the game by putting forward short and sharp clothes, but when you look at the origin, the model was protected in a whole blanket but aced it as the scarf. The designers named it the scarf of confidence and strength in women.

Gabriela Hearst

The most favorite collection from the fashion week because their game is cranked up by recycling the waste products into the top-notch fashion statements. The designers think that one needs to use the older resources rather than creating new ones as that brings more garbage to the world and less sustainability in the environment.

Collina Strada

To make things easy and light, this collection was a fusion of sustainability and happy faces enjoying their walk. The designers think that we are in the dark, and only these happy faces can lighten up the moods!

Christopher John Rogers

Acing the strawberry waists and silhouettes from the history, this collection sparked the ramp with ruffled necklines and the gowns that look nothing but a gown made in heaven for the goddesses.

Well on that note don’t forget to check out our Kollection!
